Excuses for being out-of-shape and not achieving your goal are getting old and you’re only letting yourself down. An excuse takes less immediate effort than an action but in the long run the person who takes action always has the advantage.
• Don’t replace responsibilities with excuses; instead expect more from yourself
• Focus on the one big reason why you are not losing the weight and look to fix it
• Make a list of the benefits you’ll enjoy once you achieve your goal; read them first thing each morning
• Remember that you can only have two things in life: excuses or results. Which do you want?
